Wake up! (Slowly)

I’m making myself a hot drink, it’s like coffee but it’s not that. It’s 6 am, I need to be at my college at 8:15 am. I open my front door, the icy wind wakes me up suddenly. I pull the newspaper out of the mailbox, Russia threatens to invade Europe, hmmm nothing new here I guess. The radio is playing melancholic music, why would they do that? It’s like they want you to stay in bed. I make myself some peanut butter sandwiches, savory! After this delight I jump into a hot shower, can I just stay here for the rest of the day? Please? Nope, guess not. Sliding that toothbrush along your teeth wondering how late it is, going to the toilet. I feel like I’ve prepared myself well for the day. Goodbye beautiful home, goodbye family. Time to face the day head on!

The rain

It’s raining heavily today, thousands of drops flying down. They make things look worse than they are,  everything looks a bit sad. But that’s just perception, this weather gives you a great opportunity to stay inside and do productive things inside your home, like: blogging, cleaning, whatever indoor hobby’s you have that make you feel good. You could just go out and do some cardio: cycling, running, etc… You might be more prone to catch a cold but you’ll be happy when you’ve done it! There was a blackbird in my garden making a nest in the ivy plants, when it started getting wet it could hide in between the leaves, cozily hidden in her new nest. When the rain has passed the ground will smell different and you won’t have to water the plants for a few days. Everything has an opportunity hidden in it, even the rain. All you have to do is see it and take it.

Glass eyes

When looking through glass eyes everything becomes passive. Everything just passes in front of you, no reaction. It doesn’t affect you, space and time unite inside of you. It’s all abstract now, you could even term it psychotic. Your eyes are no longer the mirror of your soul. Stone cold.

There is no way to break into your thoughts or feelings. Only music can set you free.
